Some conspiracy theorists out there wonder if the Orlando Magic purposely mailed it in against the Toronto Raptors in order to drop in the standings, in order to avoid the Detroit Pistons. The Pistons, who are now third in the standings, would face the Miami Heat should the playoffs start today instead of the Pistons, who have owned them in recent postseasons.

If that’s the case, look for the Magic to put in another half effort tonight. The Cavs are the better team here.
