Kentucky Kansas Odds – Tuesday, 9:00 PM ET

The No.2 Wildcats are one of the price per head favorites to win the national championship, and head coach John Calipari always makes sure the cupboard is stocked as his next freshman class replaces a crew that got drafted in the first round. Marquis Teague, Michael Kidd-Gilchrist and Anthony Davis will play big roles, but don’t forget about Terrence Jones, who decided to come back, and Darius Miller, who adds experience in the backcourt.

The No.13 Jayhawks may have it tough early in the season as they lost a lot of players from last year’s squad, and a couple of freshmen were declared ineligible. Tyshawn Taylor is the only starter that returns, and he has butted heads with head coach Bill Self on many occasions. Thomas Robinson was one of the most inspiring players of last year after the death of his mother and other family members, but the Jayhawks need him to be a star.

Kentucky should be the favorites on a neutral site, and they’re 2-3 SU and 1-4 ATS in their last five against the Jayhawks, with two of the last three falling under the posted total. Bucs Saints Odds – Sunday, 1:00 PM ET

The Bucs (4-3) had a week off after a 24-18 loss to Chicago in London, England, and Tampa Bay’s odds in your pay per head sportsbook depend on the play of Josh Freeman, who was lauded as a rookie for his poise, but he has struggled in his sophomore season. They’ll be hoping that LaGarrette Blount can make it back into the lineup after missing time with a knee injury.

Even though MLB scores are hot right now because of the playoffs, but the NFL is still a major draw and one of the biggest stories of the year is Indianapolis, who have yet to pick up a win this season without Peyton Manning. The Colts will go for win No.1 this Sunday night against New Orleans, who beat Indianapolis in the Super Bowl two seasons ago.

Colts Saints Odds – Sunday, 8:20 PM ET

The Colts went to 0-6 after a 27-17 loss in Cincinnati, and three turnovers killed their chances in your bookie software (although to be fair, those weren’t great in the first place). Curtis Painter was picked off once, but Pierre Garcon and Dallas Clark both lost fumbles and the Colts have spiraled out of control. The defense isn’t good enough to carry the team, and it goes to show how important Manning was to the Colts.

The 4-2 Saints had an uncharacteristically sloppy game in a 26-20 loss in Tampa Bay as they turned the ball over four times, including three picks by Drew Brees. New Orleans couldn’t run the ball, but normally that’s not a problem for the offense; don’t expect Brees to have that sort of game this week.

NFL odds have the Saints as a two-touchdown favorite at home over the Colts, who are 2-3 SU and ATS in their last five meetings with New Orleans, with three games going under the posted total. The Saints will blitz Painter from the very first series and it’ll be interesting to see how he handles that; we don’t think he’ll handle it well. Sitting at one and four on the sports betting season, fans and analysts alike can’t seem to figure out why Denver Broncos Head Coach John Fox refuses to put former Florida Gator Tim Tebow in as the starting quarterback for his failing club. This past weekend, Fox teased Broncos fans, as he put the former Heisman and National Championship MVP in for the second half of the team’s five point loss to the price per head bookmaking San Diego Chargers. With the playoffs out of the realm of possibility, barring a turn around, the Denver Broncos need to put Tebow in as quarterback.

Essentially, Tebow provides a sense of optimism for Broncos fans to hang on to. Meanwhile, Orton provides an overrated veteran who is in the good graces of the new Head Coach, which would you choose?

Aaron Rodgers was a part of six touchdowns in a 49-23 romp for the Packers (4-0) over Denver on Sunday, four through the air and two on the ground. The defense could use some improvement, allowing 384 yards, but they also forced four turnovers and ran one back for a score. The Packers are the undisputed NFL favorites, but it’s still very early.

The Falcons (2-2) looked like they had one eye on the Packers, but they held on for a 30-28 win in Seattle in a game that should have been much more of a blowout. Atlanta held the ball for over 40 minutes, but the Seahawks stayed with the Falcons and that has to be worrying for Atlanta fans.

The Packers are favored by four points at the Georgia Dome, where they are 2-1 SU and ATS in their last three trips since 2005, and two games went over the posted total. The Falcons’ defense didn’t look good against Seattle, which means Green Bay should frighten them. It won’t be the rout that it was in the playoffs, but the Packers have too many weapons and they’re a better defensive team than the Falcons. Entering week four of the NFL betting lines season, the Kansas City Chiefs and Indianapolis Colts, the AFC West and South division winners of 2010, each remain winless. On the other hand, after getting destroyed in the first two weeks of the regular season, it finally appears that the Kansas City Chiefs are coming out of their funk. Although they lost a nail biter to the San Diego Chargers and dropped to zero and three to start the year, Sunday’s matchup indicated that Matt Cassel is back. Cassel looked as competent as 2010 Cassel, and the Chiefs offense, even without Jamal Charles, appeared to be on the same page. Do not be surprised if the Chiefs come out of this losing streak and make a run at a playoff spot.
