Is Anyone Interested In A BCS National Championship?
September 29, 2008
So yeah, does anyone care about the BCS National Championship? Enjoy betting on the winner of the BCS National Championship because it’s almost impossible to figure out who will be there.

USC won’t be, after they played like a Scott Linehan coached team at Oregon State this past Thursday. Clemson, who was already out of the Championship picture after getting Bobby Browned by Alabama, added in a home loss to Maryland for good measure. Wake Forest lost to Navy – yes, you read that right – and Florida couldn’t kick an extra point against Ole Miss. Georgia’s BCS Championship hopes were put to rest by Alabama on Saturday night while Wisconsin also will be watching MAD TV’s Lowered Expectations after losing in the Big House.
A total of six ranked teams lost to six unranked teams this week.
I think it’s time to party like it’s 2007, when the BCS was a weekly mess. With so many massive upsets, bet on the college football underdogs regularly. They seem to be paying off.
SEC Makes Me Foam At The Mouth
September 23, 2008
The SEC is wonderful. It’s on such a higher pedestal than any other division in college football and every week there is some sort of tantalizing contest.

We’ll have more stuff about the games as the weekend approaches.

By the way, what’s your favorite color: blue or yellow?
What College Football Game Are You Most Excited For This Weekend?
September 18, 2008
There may not be an Ohio State-USC game this weekend, but realistically, it might be better this way. That game sucked last week, for entertainment purposes.
This week’s card presents a ton of sexy matchups that could be extremely even matched. As evenly as Shanon Elizabeth and Tara Reid doing an algebra test.

*Got to love the irrelevant chic picks, although Florida State hosting a pretty big game against Wake Forest.
Florida Gators vs Tennessee Volunteers
-Florida Ike Turnered Tennessee last year and ran up the score. They’ve already been talking talk saying that Tennessee quit on that game and head coach Philip Fulmer has got his team thinking no one in the world believes in them. I do, Phil. I do.
Alabama Crimson Tide vs Arkansas Razorbacks
-The Alabama Crimson Tide have so many advantages in this game I’m even wondering how Arkansas will compete. And their quarterback is a Dick (Casey Dick).
Georgia Bulldogs @ Arizona State Sun Devils
-Long trip for Georgia but figure me this: Georgia topped a very tough South Carolina squad on the road last week while Arizona State lost at home to UNLV. ASU better hope that they were looking ahead because on paper, they should get crushed here.
LSU Tigers @ Auburn Tigers
-Tigers versus Tigers in a crucial SEC battle. I’ll take Auburn because of revenge (from last year) and because they are battle tested this year (played stiffer competition). I’ll take what the online sportsbook odds give me, and that’s a decent payout if the underdog Auburn Tigers win.
Georgia Bulldogs Atop Preseason Poll
August 1, 2008
Rivals.com completed their preseason countdown yesterday and the USC Trojans were No. 1. Today, in the preseason USA Today Coaches’ Poll, the Georgia Bulldogs were voted the top-ranked team.

Rounding out the top five was USC at No. 2, Ohio State at No. 3, Oklahoma at No.4 and Florida at No. 5.
Georgia finished last season at No. 2 after making Hawaii do this after a 41-10 rout in the Sugar Bowl. LSU, the reigning BCS Champion, has had some key losses so they slide down, and Georgia slides up.
But Georgia won’t finish the season No. 1. Or as the BCS Champion. They have to face seven opponents that are ranked in the top 29. Enjoy.
