The Los Angeles Lakers have been in control in this entire series but the Magic are just one game away from tying it. On one hand, that’s a good sign. On the other hand, they had to shoot and NBA Finals record 62% from the field just to win Game 3 – and they only won by four. Look for the Lakers to sneak one out in Game 4 as they take a stranglehold on the series.

NBA Championship Odds: Magic -3.5
The Orlando Magic and Los Angeles Lakers will square off in Game 3 of the NBA Finals on Tuesday night. The Lakers have dominated the series to this point and the Magic’s confidence has dissipated. Even so, look for the Magic to win Game 3 as this is really the entire series. With a loss here, it’s over. The Magic will be desperate for a win.

The NBA Finals are up and while many sports fans care more about the Belmont Stakes betting this Saturday, we’ll keep our eye on the NBA.

Lakers Magic betting: Lakers -260 To Win Series
The Lakers may have the best back court player in this series but the Magic have the best big man. Last year, the Lakers were intimidated by a big defensive physical force in Kevin Garnett and the same might happen again this year. The Magic have really good balance in their starting lineup and now they’ll get a boost with Jameer Nelson coming off the bench. It should be an interesting series but I think the Magic can do it.

Bet Online NBA: Los Angeles Lakers @ Denver Nuggets
Lakers odds: Nuggets -5
The Lakers and Nuggets have played a closely contested series and don’t expect that to change. The Lakers did pull out Game 5 but that was mostly spurred on by a Nuggets cold streak at the end of the third/start of the fourth quarter. The Nuggets are a much better team at home and should play a much more careful game. Look for them to limit the turnovers as they move on to force a game seven.

The Cleveland Cavaliers are on the ropes. As their series in the Eastern Conference Finals progresses, they look more and more frustrated while the Magic look more and more confident. The truth is that the Cavaliers just don’t have enough answers for the Magic’s three-pointers, inside-out game and pick-and-rolls. The Cavs will probably win Game 5 on their home court but that may just delay the inevitable.

The Cleveland Cavaliers have looked sluggish in their series against the Orlando Magic but that is mostly because of what the Magic are doing to them. The Cavs can’t stop them on defense and offensively, they can’t find enough of a support cast for LeBron James. James is going off in this series but he has no help. The Magic are too deep, too strong. As a home dog, they are a good bet.
