Penn State vs Michigan odds: -23

Good luck, Michigan. That’s all I have to say. Good luck.

Bet on Penn State

Ohio State vs Michigan State odds: Ohio State -3.5

Michigan State looks good but they have yet to be fully tested this year.

Bet on Ohio State

Missouri vs Texas Odds: Texas -6.5

Missouri turned out a poor performance against Oklahoma State last week and now will try to win in Austin for the first time in over a century. They are capable of it.

Bet on Missouri

Kansas vs Oklahoma odds: Oklahoma -19

Kansas has to deal with an angry Oklahoma? Enjoy that.

Bet on Oklahoma

Broncos vs Patriots odds: Patriots -3.5

Broncos play pretty well in New England but they don’t play defense anywhere.

Bet on the Over

Saints vs Panthers odds: Panthers -3

Just a hunch but I think the Saints get the job done.

Bet on the Saints

Colts vs Packers odds: Colts -1.5

Colts have their swagger back, which means they are the team to bet on.

Bet on the Colts

Browns vs Redskins odds: Redskins -7

This line is high – Browns played well on Monday Night Football and their offense has their swagger back.

Bet on the Browns

There may not be an Ohio State-USC game this weekend, but realistically, it might be better this way. That game sucked last week, for entertainment purposes.

This week’s card presents a ton of sexy matchups that could be extremely even matched. As evenly as Shanon Elizabeth and Tara Reid doing an algebra test.

*Got to love the irrelevant chic picks, although Florida State hosting a pretty big game against Wake Forest.

Florida Gators vs Tennessee Volunteers
-Florida Ike Turnered Tennessee last year and ran up the score. They’ve already been talking talk saying that Tennessee quit on that game and head coach Philip Fulmer has got his team thinking no one in the world believes in them. I do, Phil. I do.

Alabama Crimson Tide vs Arkansas Razorbacks
-The Alabama Crimson Tide have so many advantages in this game I’m even wondering how Arkansas will compete. And their quarterback is a Dick (Casey Dick).

Georgia Bulldogs @ Arizona State Sun Devils
-Long trip for Georgia but figure me this: Georgia topped a very tough South Carolina squad on the road last week while Arizona State lost at home to UNLV. ASU better hope that they were looking ahead because on paper, they should get crushed here.

LSU Tigers @ Auburn Tigers
-Tigers versus Tigers in a crucial SEC battle. I’ll take Auburn because of revenge (from last year) and because they are battle tested this year (played stiffer competition). I’ll take what the online sportsbook odds give me, and that’s a decent payout if the underdog Auburn Tigers win.

T-minus four days until the biggest matchup of the college football season hits when Ohio State travels to USC. But even though Ohio State struggled with the lousy Ohio Bobcats last week, that’s not stopping them from trash-talking the Trojans.

Buckeyes wideout, Ray Small, had this to say in comparing the two schools:

“Here at Ohio State, they teach you to be a better man,” Small said. “There, it’s just all about football.”

Ummm, Ray Ray, you guys nearly lost to the Ohio Bobcats. The Charlotte Bobcats could beat the Ohio Bobcats in a football game. You should be going into the game humble.

Since the Buckeyes aren’t going into the game humble, that probably means they will be leaving humble.

Pick: Trojans -10.5

After a weekend of college football highlighted by very few marquee games, Week 3 should be fantastic. It’s like going from drinking coffee in the morning to drinking Red Bull-infused Espresso’s.

USC versus Ohio State highlights the week and it’s the game college football bettors have had circled since the schedule was announced.

Ohio State might have some problems since supposed Heisman candidate Chris Wells is dealing with an ankle injury. They struggled to beat the Ohio Bobcats without their star, which really puts a damper on their upcoming matchup unless Wells heals up.

The Trojans open as a 10-point favorite and the winner is expected to be the front runner for the 2008/2009 BCS Championship. USC is off a bye week and the uncertainty surround Wells status has inflated the betting line. Also, the fact that the Trojans are 18-2 in their last 20 games at the Rose Bowl.

Realistically, if the game is tight and the loser loses by one or two points, both teams should still be in the picture. As a matter of fact, if, say, Ohio State loses by one but sweeps the rest of their schedule and USC does the same, both teams could be facing off in the BCS Championship Game.

Saturday’s matchup kicks off at 8:00 PM ET and should be a dandy.

How was your summer? You have fun with all of your friends at camp, on the slip-n-slides and meeting your summer love?

Well, summer is over kid. Get your pencils, paper and duatangs ready because school is back!

The good news is so is college football and it’s now time to put some NCAAF Betting in our pipe and smoke it.

Now that I’ve got all of the red-blooded Americans attention, let’s take a brief look at Thursday’s card:

UTEP @ Buffalo -3
-Turner Gill has turned the Bulls around – can they make a bowl game this year? UTEP has plenty of injuries and they won’t be at full strength for this one.

Vanderbilt @ Miami (OH) -3
-Another field goal game. Vandy is brutal and Miami will contend for the MAC this season, but this is still an SEC school versus a MAC school. Two good defenses should equal an under.

NC State @ South Carolina -13.5
-This is a lot of point to lay against the Wolfpack, who seem to have a penchant for covering. They aren’t very good overall but should be able to keep this game respectable.

Wake Forest @ Baylor -12
-Art Briles makes his coaching debut for Baylor but the cupboard is pretty bare talent-wise. Wake Forest has ACC Championship aspiration but Jim Grobe’s squad seems to play to their opponent’s talent level.

Oregon State -3 @ Stanford
-A rare early Pac 10 conference game between two teams who should be irrelevant in the Pac 10 this year. Jim Harbaugh’s squad looks tasty as a home dog.

Rivals.com completed their preseason countdown yesterday and the USC Trojans were No. 1. Today, in the preseason USA Today Coaches’ Poll, the Georgia Bulldogs were voted the top-ranked team.

Rounding out the top five was USC at No. 2, Ohio State at No. 3, Oklahoma at No.4 and Florida at No. 5.

Georgia finished last season at No. 2 after making Hawaii do this after a 41-10 rout in the Sugar Bowl. LSU, the reigning BCS Champion, has had some key losses so they slide down, and Georgia slides up.

But Georgia won’t finish the season No. 1. Or as the BCS Champion. They have to face seven opponents that are ranked in the top 29. Enjoy.
