Hurray, it’s time for Monday Night Football, sports book odds and Faith Hill’s atrocious opening song to Monday Night Football.
Is there anything else to do? Transporter 3? Quantum of Solace?
Tonight’s featured game is the 4-7 Jacksonville Jaguars and the 4-7 Houston Texans.
Not to worry – some sports betting makes a relatively boring game far more interesting.

It’s turkey time, which means we’ll have silly awards after the football games (Phil Simms award) and more importantly, football and NFL betting. And Adam Sandler.
Titans are a huge favorite, everyone assumes they bounce-back after a loss. That’s not necessarily the case. Look for a tight game.
Online betting Pick: Lions +11
Seahawks don’t travel well – have you forgotten? Sure they played with the Cardinals and Redskins at home over the recent weeks but this is a must-win for the Cowboys.
Online betting pick: Cowboys -12.5
There’s also one college game on the board. I would take Texas – they can’t mess around in this game and they need an emphatic win with Oklahoma potentially gaining points with a win over Oklahoma State.

LSU is a dangerous opponent, but Georgia is just a little bit better at the skill positions (quarterback, running back wide receiver).
Pick: Bet on Georgia
OK State is a nice team and they are capable of pulling the upset. The question is can Texas play with the same intensity as they played with against Oklahoma and Missouri.

Penn State vs Ohio State odds:
Penn State vs Ohio State is essentially the Big 10 Championship. I’ll lean with the home team.
Pick: Bet Ohio State
The Giants lost in the AFC North just two weeks ago. It will happen again this week.
Pick: Bet on Steelers
Colts are desperate for a win but they might not be good enough to defeat an undefeated team. The Titans should be able to run wild on the flimsy Colts defense.

Chargers vs Saints in Londontown – Chargers need this game more – and their the better team.
Pick: Bet on Chargers
Phillies may have snaked home-field advantage but their bats are still quiet. Take the Rays on the series.

Penn State vs Michigan odds: -23
Good luck, Michigan. That’s all I have to say. Good luck.
Ohio State vs Michigan State odds: Ohio State -3.5
Michigan State looks good but they have yet to be fully tested this year.
Missouri vs Texas Odds: Texas -6.5
Missouri turned out a poor performance against Oklahoma State last week and now will try to win in Austin for the first time in over a century. They are capable of it.
Kansas vs Oklahoma odds: Oklahoma -19
Kansas has to deal with an angry Oklahoma? Enjoy that.
Bet on Oklahoma
Broncos vs Patriots odds: Patriots -3.5
Broncos play pretty well in New England but they don’t play defense anywhere.
Saints vs Panthers odds: Panthers -3
Just a hunch but I think the Saints get the job done.
Colts vs Packers odds: Colts -1.5
Colts have their swagger back, which means they are the team to bet on.
Browns vs Redskins odds: Redskins -7
This line is high – Browns played well on Monday Night Football and their offense has their swagger back.

Texas vs Oklahoma odds: Oklahoma -7
Oklahoma homecoming means Texas gets their first wakeup call. Bet Oklahoma.
Oklahoma State vs Missouri odds: Missouri -13.5
Oklahoma State has played cupcakes all season long. Missouri has not. Bet Missouri to roll.
Notre Dame vs North Carolina Odds: North Carolina -7.5
North Carolina is a team on the rise but apparently, so is Notre Dame. The Fighting Irish are a little sloppy on the road and won’t have the home crowd to back them up this week. Even so, look for them to keep it within a touchdown.
LSU vs Florida Odds: Florida -6
Florida is perceived to be the weaker team in this equation but they are just as good as LSU. And they are at home. And LSU gave them bulletin board material.
Dodgers vs Phillies odds: Phillies -110
Dodgers – with Manny Ramirez – appear to be the team of destiny in the National League.
Red Sox vs Rays odds: Red Sox -140
Experience or inexperience? I’ll bet the Red Sox.
Cowboys vs Cardinals odds: Cowboys -6
Online sportsbook odds still have Cowboys as a road favorite even though the Cardinals play really well at home. I’ll bet the Cardinals.
Patriots vs Chargers odds: Chargers -5.5
Chargers want revenge. Patriots have no offensive identity right now.
Jaguars vs Broncos odds: Broncos -3
Jaguars are a different team when they can run the ball with some efficiency. That should happen this weekend in Denver. Bet the Jaguars.
Giants vs Browns odds: Giants -7
Giants are flying high and should stomp the reeling Browns – even though the Browns are off a bye week.

Ohio State vs Wisconsin betting
Wisconsin has yet to lose at Camp Randall under their new head coach Bret Bielema. That won’t happen this week.
Florida State vs Miami betting
Florida State at Miami – not exactly what it used to be. I like Miami at home.
After USC lost last Thursday in Oregon State…good luck Oregon.
This one, I’ll just sit back and enjoy the regular way.

Cubs in October? Don’t they generally crumble under pressure.
I’ll take a shot with the underdog White Sox on the series after Javier Vazquez blows Game One.
You didn’t think this would be one of the better Week Five matchups but it is. I like the Buccaneers to keep it close.
Another NFC East matchup – it’s like the SEC of the NFL. Redskins are overrated and Eagles are more desperate for the win.
