Fun Ways To Bet Superbowl Odds
January 27, 2009
There are many fun ways to bet on superbowl odds, but the question is do you care? We don’t bet on all sorts of wacky things like the coin toss, turnovers or first coaches challenge in the regular season, so why do we pile on now that we are betting super bowl 43?
To be honest, there are so many pages to sift through that its become ridiculous. I’m sure there is value somewhere in one of the 49 pages of prop bets, but that to me is not a fun ways to bet on superbowl 43. It’s going to suck the life out of the event and I’ll be hoping for too many things to happen.

I’ll just stick with a side – check back later in the week for, but if you’ve been reading a long most of you know that I’ve been leaning with Steelers odds on super bowl 43.
Mike Tomlin Has Ken Whisenhunt’s Job
January 26, 2009
Steelers odds on super bowl XLIII clearly indicate that they’ll be the champs. Obviously, the games aren’t played on paper, so we’ll have to see the game play out before we hand anyone any trophies.
One underlying storyline that people seem to forget is that Ken Whisenhunt and Mike Tomlin were the two favorites to replace Bill Cowher after the Steelers won the Super Bowl. Tomlin got the job and Whisenhunt took the job in Arizona.

Keep in mind when you’re betting on super bowl 43 that this in many ways is a revenge game for Whisenhunt. But how does revenge impact this steelers vs cardinals line?
I still think the better team is the Steelers and they’ll end up winning, which is why my money will follow them when I’m betting on super bowl 43.

Kerry Collins Playing Pro Bowl
January 21, 2009
It’s the game that will be played after we’re doing with Super Bowl XLIII betting, but it’s worth talking about the Pro Bowl for a second. After all, all we are doing right now is re-hashing everything we know about the Super Bowl.
So the Pro Bowl is now officially watered down. Well, it wasn’t made official now but it’s been watered down beyond believe now that Kerry Collins is going. For him, that might be a good thing.
Maybe Collins bets Super Bowl props or odds, but he definitely won’t be playing in the game.
Honestly, though, isn’t anyone more deserved of going to the Pro Bowl as an AFC quarterback?
Brett Favre backed out, No. 1 alternate Philip Rivers isn’t interested in going as an alternate, so Collins was the third choice.
Let’s do a numbers comparison:
Kerry Collins: 242-415 (58.3%), 2676 yards, 12 TD, 7 INT, 80.3 QB Rating
Matt Cassel: 327-516 (63.4%), 3693 yards, 21 TD, 11 INT, 89.3 QB Rating
Chad Pennington: 321-476 (67.4%), 3653 yards, 19 TD, 7 INT, 97.4 QB Rating
How does Collins have a case over Pennington or Cassel? Actually, I’ll just answer that for you. He doesn’t.

Super Bowl XLIII News – Anquan Boldin Is All Good
January 20, 2009
Normally, at this point, everyone who bet Super Bowl games, has already placed their bets. After all, the sharps get in on the action early to get the best line value.
But for the 2009 superbowl odds, a lot of sports bettors have been waiting to make their move because of issues with two key wide receivers.
On the Arizona side of things, Anquan Boldin had a huge spat with his offensive coordinator in the NFC Championship Game and a lot people were wondering where his head is at:
On Monday, he went on NFL Live on ESPN and basically said that everything is good in the ‘hood. We have to take it with a grain of salt because Boldin is unhappy about his contract and has wanted off of the team since the beginning of the season. Now his frustration has boiled over and he’s taking it public.
Steelers odds have hinged on the fact that Hines Ward is expected to play after suffering a knee injury that kept him out of most of the AFC Championship game.
On Monday, he said the injury is not serious and he intends to play.
Who will win the Super Bowl? My friend at High Heels Gambling has made some inclinations but only time will tell.
